eWeighBar600 is a digital weighing load bar built for livestock up to 2,000 kg | 4,400 lbs.

It connects through your weigh head, transmitting weights seamlessly to iLivestock, where they are instantly recorded against each animal. This eliminates the need for paperwork and reduces errors during weighing.

Designed for everyday farm use, the eWeighBar600 gives farmers fast, accurate, and reliable performance data, supporting smarter decisions on growth, feeding, and breeding — all while integrating with existing weighing equipment.

All new customers purchasing iLivestock equipment receive a free, one-time, 12-month subscription to iLivestock software worth the equivalent of £300. A coupon will be available for redemption within the box upon delivery.

eWeighBar600 or eWeighBar800: Which Size Do I Need?

Both bars share the same 560mm fixing centres, so the choice is about the width of the crate, tray or platform sitting on top, not just about the weight of the animal. Either capacity is ample for weighing sheep and calves: set under a weigh crate, the eWeighBar600 makes up a compact set of calf scales, while the wider eWeighBar800 suits full-size crates and platforms.

eWeighBar600 eWeighBar800
Bar width 600mm 760mm
Capacity 2,000 kg (4,400 lbs) 3,000 kg (6,600 lbs)
Weight 16 kg per bar, 32 kg total 18 kg per bar, 36 kg total
Suitable for Narrower sheep crates, lamb trays and smaller platforms Wider sheep and calf crates and full-size platforms
Fixing centres 560mm — same on both 560mm — same on both

Not suitable for a cattle crush. At 560mm fixing centres neither bar spans a crush frame. For standard and heavy-duty cattle crushes, see the eWeighBarHD. If you already have a sheep crate and only want to add weighing, the eWeighCell suspends your existing crate instead.

The Connected Platform

Everything to read, weigh and manage your livestock.

Sends live weights straight to the iLivestock app from the crate or crush. At the same time, scan your animal’s EID tag to instantly identify which animal is on the scales.

iLivestock automatically records accurate weights against the correct sheep or cattle, giving you clear performance data and full traceability without slowing down your workflow.

Log all of your records directly from the field, with no admin later. Never lose a notebook, medical record, or that important piece of information you swore you’d remember next time.

The eTagReader is used to read the EID tag for identification of the sheep, and both the weigh head and the reader connect to the iLivestock app where data is captured and stored for later recall.

All-in-one precision technology

As an all-in-one platform for cattle and sheep, iLivestock combines farm software, reading and weighing tools, and dedicated support – helping farmers easily manage their livestock, maximise productivity, and improve profitability.

Live weights & instant identification

eWeigh and eTagReader work together with the iLivestock app so that every animal is identified the moment it steps on the scales.

Accurate weights are recorded against the correct EID automatically, whether you are working with cattle in a crush or sheep in a crate, giving you clear performance data without slowing the job down.
