This 13,000 litre black MDPE water tank gives you a cost-effective on-farm water reserve to draw on during dry spells.

Designed for rainwater harvesting, it works standalone or as part of a modular system. The black MDPE material is UV-stabilised and frost-proof, and opaque to help keep algae growth down, so your stored water stays cleaner for longer with less maintenance.

These tanks install above ground and work as a modular system. Start with one and add more later as your needs or budget grow, using standard rooftop catchment and filtration.

A 600mm inspection hatch with secure screw-down lid gives easy access for checking and cleaning. Lift eyes make handling and installation safer and faster when the tank is empty.

Each tank is made in the UK by ECOSURE from tank-grade, UV-stabilised MDPE to ISO 9001:2015 standards. It requires no rust-resistant lining like steel tanks, and the MDPE is UV-stabilised for long service life outdoors.

Every tank comes with a 10-year manufacturer warranty. This tank is built for non-potable agricultural use only.

Supplied with a 2" BSP brass male threaded outlet and a 600mm screw-down lid. The tank is undrilled and the outlet is supplied loose unless you ask us to have it drilled to your chosen position. Guttering, filtration, pumps and pipework are not included and are specified separately.

Need a smaller tank? The standard 10,000L tank is the lower-capacity option, the tall 10,000L tank suits tighter ground space, and the insulated 10,000L tank adds temperature control.

Shipping & Returns

This is a large, heavy item (approx. 260 kg). Offloading equipment is required at the time of delivery — a telehandler or forklift with extended forks. The delivery driver is not able to assist with offloading. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure suitable equipment and personnel are available on site when the delivery is scheduled. We are unable to deliver to sites without appropriate offloading facilities.

Delivery

  • Made-to-order. Allow 15 to 25 working days for manufacturing, then 5–10 working days for delivery.
  • Delivered by specialist freight across mainland UK. Delivery arranged in advance.
  • Delivery is priced by postcode. Free to most of mainland UK. Surcharges apply to some postcodes, shown at checkout once you enter your address.
  • We will contact you before dispatch to confirm the delivery point and access requirements.
  • Someone must be present to sign for delivery. Clear access to the drop-off point is required.
  • Forklift, telehandler or suitable lifting equipment required on-site (must be provided by purchaser).
  • Tank must be completely empty when lifting. Lift eyes are fitted. Care required as the tank is heavy and may swing when lifted.
  • Must be installed on a flat surface. A reinforced concrete base (minimum 200mm thick) with adequate clearance on all sides is recommended.

Check It Before You Sign

Inspect the tank on delivery. Do not sign for it if damage is visible, and do not attempt to move or lift a damaged tank. Refusing a damaged delivery at the door is faster and simpler than arranging a return, contact us straight away and we will sort it out.

Returns

Tanks supplied to standard specification can be returned under our normal returns terms. Tanks drilled or otherwise modified to your specification cannot be returned if you change your mind.

Return carriage on tanks is charged at cost. As a specialist freight movement this is a significant amount, and we will confirm the figure before you return anything. The tank must be empty and clean, offloading and loading is your responsibility, and collection is booked through us.

This applies to change-of-mind returns only. If a tank arrives damaged, faulty or wrongly supplied, we cover the return carriage in full.
